Coming Soon: A Smart Way to Get More 5-Star Reviews and Real Feedback
Introducing PollQR.com — a simple QR Code Survey platform that helps owner/operators boost 5-star reviews and keep a pulse on customer satisfaction.
With just a few clicks, you can build a customer experience survey, get QR codes to print, and start collecting instant feedback. PollQR guides you through each step. It takes just ten minutes to get going. Once it’s live, you get emails every day (if you so choose) with ideas on making your in-store experience better. You get a dashboard, where you can track your satisfaction score over time.
The first 100 responses are free, but you can easily upgrade for unlimited response tracking and unlimited QR codes.
PollQR employs Artificial Intelligence (AI) to surface customer sentiment patterns and insights over time — so you can see what’s working, what’s not, and how to keep improving. Are people liking the counter service? Cleanliness? Lighting? Ambience? Value?

You could even A/B test different menus or give one QR code to each delivery service. Quickly spot your biggest areas for revenue improvement, and turn happy customers into 5-star reviews online.

How It Works
Step 1: Visit PollQR.com, and create a survey.
Step 2. Choose what questions you want to ask. Several best-practice QR Survey templates are provided for you.
Step 3: Simply print out the provided QR code and place it at checkout, on the wall, on table tents, or on the door. You’ll then get notified when feedback comes in, and can check your dashboard for summary results.
PollQR features Net Promoter Score best-practice measurement, quick-loading mobile-friendly forms, and other best practices to maximize results.
PollQR delivers a mobile-friendly, easy to use survey form. You can even get notified in Slack or Microsoft Teams when new reviews come in, via built-in webhooks. Bonus: It automatically nudges your biggest fans to review you online, while redirecting those who are less-satisfied directly to you.
PollQR is laser-focused on simple surveying. You don’t have time for cumbersome setup.
And it’s inexpensive, at just $29 per month or $249/year for unlimited QR codes and responses. But I’m offering a year free to 10 participants who join an exclusive beta program; I’m looking for feedback. Message me if interested; I’ll let you know if there’s still room.
Differences from Other Survey Platforms
Surveying via QR isn’t brand-new, but many survey providers are cumbersome and quite expensive.
They’re also over-engineered for the simple “scan this code and provide feedback” use-case. You can roll-your-own with some off-the-shelf tools, but you’ll lack things like trend analysis, best-practice mobile forms, AI insights, and a searchable database of feedback.
PollQR keeps it simple, friendly, and is affordably priced. It’ll also provide automated, conditional referral nudges which can be cumbersome to create and test in other platforms.
Origin Story
One morning a while back I needed a plumbing part for a new icemaker. I dropped by two hardware stores, Home Depot and ACE. Both were blasting death metal… at 8am. It was jarring. I couldn’t help but wonder how many customers shortened their shopping, or quietly walked right out, like I almost did.
Yet I also I didn’t say anything at checkout. Why? It felt awkward to complain about something so trivial to a human. Maybe the cashier chose the music. And I wasn’t about to boot up Yelp or Google Reviews and search for the store, then leave a public review over something like that… I just wanted to make my quick purchase and get out.
But if there had been a simple, private way to give quick feedback to the manager, I absolutely would’ve used it. I like helping businesses improve. I want stores to do well.
That moment stuck with me, and I began to think about all those in-person interactions with semi-bad, easy-to-improve service that go untransmitted.
Between the rise of smartphones and our post-COVID comfort with QR codes, it seemed obvious: there’s a better way to hear from customers in real time, without making it a hassle. How many times has the music, the service, the cleanliness, the product… not been to your liking in a retail store?
PollQR.com Benefits
Set up long-running surveys in minutes. Access continuous customer feedback and detailed analytics. If you place your QR codes right (and even get employees to nudge use of them, or provide a reward for doing so), each day, you’ll get private feedback on what to improve, before it hits the online reviews. You can test new menu options, or find out what delivery customers truly think of you. With AI, you’ll see better what your customers are liking and not liking so much. You can spot trends or hiccups in your daily service, or whether new changes you’ve made improve things or take them in the wrong direction. No programming required.
Your surveys take 5 mins tops to set up. There are ready-to-go templates for gyms, cafes, delivery services and more. Simply create a survey with a couple clicks, display the QR code, offered for easy printout or sticker-ordering in the app. That’s it. You’ll get notified when reviews come in, and can turn off those notifications whenever you want.
Beta Testers Wanted
Do you own or operate a restaurant, coffee shop, bar, gym, florist or healthcare location?
I could use feedback on the PollQR survey platform from real owners. The primary target market is food service and retail, but I can also see this being really useful in the hospitality, professional service and even healthcare sectors.
There’s no app to download. Please do get in touch if you’d like to join the beta group.
